What is your enquiry catalyst?
Developing creativity throughout the curriculum, focusing on those subject areas not always associated with “being creative” (geography, history, Science, Maths etc).
For the children to develop to learn creatively.
Over a period of five weeks forty Year 7 students, three teachers, support staff and two creative practitioners together explored shapes, space and probability through observations of the school environment and its architecture by looking, drawing, photographing and physically interacting with both indoor and outdoor shapes and spaces.
Outcomes and Sustainability
The project aimed to support Teachers’ ongoing creative and professional development. Three teachers plus support staff were involved throughout the project with planning, delivery and evaluation. The teachers could use their skills obtained by the project in areas they teach within schools.
